Acclaimed for his photography skills across the South Campus, junior Evan Robinson can often be seen with his camera and equipment on assignments as photo editor of both The Paw Print and Oakleaves. He also does work outside of school, sometimes accompanying Jennifer Godwin Minto, the head of Poly’s photography program, on assignments.

Junior Teo Rivera-Dundas describes his interest in the visual arts quite succinctly. He says, “I’ve sort of always been drawing weird little things,” However, his recent work with the Armory Arts Center in Pasadena and in the Poly Arts Department shows a maturity as an artist far past doodles.

Senior Akemi Leung is one of the most talented young musicians on the Poly campus. A violinist for almost twelve years, she began playing at the age of five, inspired by her cousins who are professional musicians and by close family friends who play in the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Violin is a major part of Leung’s life, and she has invested substantial time and energy to accomplish much.
