As a result of the construction on Wilson Avenue and Cornell Road, senior parking has been moved from the streets traditionally reserved for seniors to the Caltech parking structure. Seniors were informed of the change the week before school began.

With the Master Plan well underway, architecture plays an increasingly important role in the Poly community. In response, Poly has added the Advanced Design and Fabrication class, created by new teacher Adam Feldmeth ’03.

Since the approval of Poly’s master plan in 2006 by the city of Pasadena, the community has awaited the construction of new classrooms, facilities and patios. With trailers on the south campus’ parking lot and the north campus’ handball courts, construction at Poly is well underway.

The Hixon building, which has been undergoing renovation since this summer, will be used for ceramics and wood classes. Construction has fallen behind schedule because of a number of complications with the city. (Joselyn Lai/The Paw Print)

As implementation of Poly’s Master Plan begins, Poly kicks off a capital campaign to raise funds for construction.
